The Snow Queen was created in the winter of 2015 for Pendragon Theatre in Saranac Lake, NY. The artistic director was particularly interested in exploring the use of puppets among the production elements. Ultimately, we decided to create an original work that adhered closely to the translations of Hans Christian Andersen’s original text. Adapted by Leslie Dame, directed by Matt Sorensen, puppet design by Matt Sorensen with Leslie Dame and Lucky Cerruti, costumes by Kent Streed, lighting by Bonnie B. Brewer! CAMP PENDRAGON- PENDRAGON THEATRE

CAMP PENDRAGON is an intensive, month-long theatre workshop for students entering 8th grade through graduated high school seniors (approximately 14 through 18 years old). Campers will experience what it takes to produce a professional musical from start to finish under the direction of Matt Sorensen, Elizabeth Cordes and choreographer, Terpsie Toon. These campers not only perform, but they are also responsible for assisting with the other production elements; costumes, props, scenery, and puppets.
